Searching the Web

Topic One: Participants of World War II
A good site I found on the countries who participated in WWII www.answers.com. It told me that the Axis Powers were a group of countries led by Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and the Empire of Japan, and that the Allies, led by the United Kingdom, after its defeat, by France, were joined by the Soviet Union and the United States.
A site that I don't like is www.fdrlibrary.marist.edu, because it states the names of people who participated in WWII rather than the countries.

Topic Two: The 1920s [The Roaring Twenties]
A good website I found on the 1920s was www.kyrene.org. I like it because it is accurate and organized. It tells the inventions, fads, and events of the 1920s. A site that I don't like is www.digitalhistory.uh.edu. It doesn't have much information on it about the 1920s and only gives short summaries of a few of the many significant events of the jazz age.
