My name is Evita and I'm 13 years old and turning 14 on September 17th. I live in Astoria, Queens, but I was born in Slovakia and moved here when I was about six years old. (My heritage is mostly Slovak and Hungarian.)
The middle school I came from is Horace Greeley (I.S.10). I wish I didn't have to leave that school, or at least the people there. I've met the greatest people and made the most amazing friends, and I miss them all like crazy. But we'll definitely keep in touch! :D
Magic, conspiracy theories, and unsolved mysteries really interest me; I love to watch detective shows. Even though I mostly just stay inside on my computer, my hobbies include gymnastics, swimming, HTML/CSS, going online, making graphics on Adobe Photoshop, and listening to music - mostly rock - my favorite band is Tokio Hotel, they're from Germany and sing in German. I also like listening to German hip-hop, like Samy Deluxe and Bushido.
My pet peeve is when people watch what I'm reading or doing on the computer from over my shoulders. Even though I never read or do anything bad, I just hate it. I have a very short temper and I hate repeating myself, but I get over it quickly if you get me mad. I can take a joke and laugh at myself, and I actually dislike people that can't. I love funny people who aren't afraid to be themselves, who aren't afraid to go into Starbucks and ask the kiosk to write their name on their cup or get on one of those little rides on Steinway that are meant for 5 year olds and make their friends pay for them to ride it.
